In this entry, I'll be addressing the question of 'Alerts'. There are plenty of pros & cons to writing an alert. The obvious concern to the hobbyist contemplating writing an alert is retribution. Especially if they are a 'newer hobbyist' VS an 'established provider'. The provider will most definitely be on the defensive ...

I often get PM's from both providers & hobbyists asking me what a 'Specific Term' on the site means. In this particular post I'm addressing 'Lessons'.... But most of my answer & instructions would remain the same regardless of the 'Term'. As always this blog is meant to be helpful and is based on my personal experiences.. Others may have completely different opinions. Variety is the spice of life ❤❤❤

So without further adieu, let's tackle the question of ...

All threads, reviews, ads, etc. have a little 'sheriff' star in the bottom, left corner. The easiest way to understand the concept of 'reputation points', is to think of them like 'FB' or 'Instagram' likes. It's a way for people to approve (like = green bars ) or dissaprove (dislike = red bars) people's contribution to the community & or discussion.

I know that's a 'simplified' way of thinking, but it's no less accurate. Another words.... Definitely take into account (and research) ...

As a 'Newbie' friendly provider, I find myself frequently being asked the same questions. So to write it down in an accesible way to all, seemed prudent at this point. This is intended to be Helpful & Informative....so continue reading with that spirit in mind ❤️
