As many of you are aware, my mother had abdominal surgery to have one of her ovaries and a non-cancerous mass on it removed recently. It has been something of an up and down month... her surgery went well (up), but she hated her pain medication and didn't want to take it (down)... she started feeling better way ahead of schedule (up), but then tore her stitches (down).
