... for being so wonderful and supportive during this past month.

As many of you are aware, my mother had abdominal surgery to have one of her ovaries and a non-cancerous mass on it removed recently. It has been something of an up and down month... her surgery went well (up), but she hated her pain medication and didn't want to take it (down)... she started feeling better way ahead of schedule (up), but then tore her stitches (down). Now, finally, with her stitches professionally removed and the rest of her pain meds returned to the hospital for disposal, here we are: at the end of it. I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of those who have been there for me during this difficult time. Your flowers and smiles and kind words have made things much brighter, much easier to handle, and much more positive in nature than should have been possible. I truly don't deserve such lovely, wonderful, amazing people as the lot of you. Thank you all for being here for me, and especially thank you for being here for her. I firmly believe that your kind words and thoughts and prayers are a huge portion of the reason she has healed so quickly and so successfully. God bless all of you, and thank you, thank you, thank you!
