I have been very fortunate on my current tour to have almost 2 weeks of availability, to include a private 11 day in call which is always nice for my clients and GREAT for overhead. It is going well and now at about halfway through the tour, appointments are picking up, and I am having a lot of fun. The problem for me is I am a pretty part time provider and if it takes 4 to 5 days to pick up some steam, I will go broke with hotel cost. Not to mention, most of my fantastic fellas humble me by wanting to see me repeatedly, so they have to wait for my usual 2 to 3 day window and hope they are available during those days. So what to do? I have tried to post an ad a few days before I am in town, giving a heads up and offering prebooking specials to start to gain interest, but that really doesn't seem to work. I am planning on hitting the road, literally and travel all over, mainly to places that TNA has a big presence. I do know that the "new girl on the block" effect works, when you have never been somewhere before, the phone rings a lot more as hobbyists are used to the same capable providers, but like fresh meat as they say. I truly think that my particular brand, size and age, make me a niche provider, so I don't think i could ever make much of a living working more often, as every day is a $100 hotel. So I will just keep tweaking things until I figure out how to best maximize my short time anywhere I find myself. The idea of hitting the road and just checking out different markets and getting to meet what I hope will be more great guys like mine. Again however, that makes me feel like they are all being neglected of my particular skills and I would feel bad being gone too long. Either way, I love my job, it is truly humbling how grateful and generous my fellas are. They are all in their own way so great to spend time with. Their repeat business makes me feel honored and I appreciate EACH AND EVERY ONE of them!
