    I just created a profile, just curious how does one get references as a Hobbyist??

    See newbie friendly providers. U will have to do the hard work of doing homework for each provider.

    Welcome to the board,
    It helps if you invest in a P411 account. They verify your information and employer and most providers will accept that as a reference along with a Linked In account or a photo with a handwritten date. Be kind, and realize the risk they must account for a stranger not "seen" before. If you have other websites that you used in the past and you can pull references from there, that might help as well.

    To find Newbie friendly providers

    1. Go up to the red banner above
    2. Hit Search
    3. Pick the dropdown: Providers
    4. Leave all the fields blank, except Screening
    5. Use the drop down and check: Newbie Friendly, hit OK
    6. Hit Search Now, and they will be listed in the order of their last log in
