Newbie Questions - Rule of Thumb

    Hey Everyone,

Account was registered over 2 years ago, however, I just had my first experience with a provider today. I posted my first review and "vouched" for her.

You can read it here: https://www.tnaboard.com/showthread....ime-Experience

First, what is the difference between a "reference" and a "vouch"? They seem to be interconnected, but I am not sure. I seem to have acquired a "vouch" and "reference" from the provider I saw. I also "vouched" for her, in addition to writing the review above.

Secondly, would anyone mind sending me some "do's and do nots" about writing references for the ladies? Not that this is the case (with my first experience), but with future encounters, is it highly recommended to NOT being too honest about the experience? I don't want my reputation to be that of a "harsh critic", but at the same time I want to be honest - in the effort to warn others. Any thoughts?

Please feel free to reach out to me, via PM or replying to this thread, with any further recommendations regarding my first review (https://www.tnaboard.com/showthread....ime-Experience).

    Thanks for any feedback!

Re: Newbie Questions - Rule of Thumb

Hello Wilder99. Excellent question about writing references. I'm not the most experienced hobbyist myself, but I believe there's a real conflict about writing references on this board. It is obviously in a hobbyist's best interest to write positive reviews, even if we have no intent of seeing the escort again. This is because we want the next prospective escorts to see us in a positive light, someone who enjoyed the experience and who might even write a positive review for them.

So, if we have a positive experience, we report it. But if we are underwhelmed, we tend to say nothing. Unfortunately, there can be negative consequences for being honest, for stating why we were disappointed. Worse case, the escort can retaliate, even alert us to others. I think one of the most common disappointments occurs when the escort isn't the same girl in her pictures. But how often is this reported?

I don't know what the solution is here, but unless it's a real negative, you probably will choose to be silently discreet rather than openly honest. I wish it was different, but unfortunately, it's just the way it is.

Thanks for the advice ChanMan. I tend to agree with your point of view. That being said, happy hobbying!
